Joshua Goudie’s first book, Jack and the Hurricane (Tuckamore Books), was published in October 2014 with its sequel, Jack and the Magnificent Ugly Stick (Tuckamore Books), following in October 2016. His short stories have appeared in numerous publications such as The Telegram, as well as The Cuffer Anthology, Volumes IV, V and VI.

He has been shortlisted for the Cuffer Prize three times and in 2013 a working draft of a novel manuscript titled, The Art of Dogs, was shortlisted for the Newfoundland and Labrador Credit Union Fresh Fish Award, one of the most generous prizes given in Canada to an emerging writer.

With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Sir Wilfred Grenfell College, Joshua combines his talents to make his public readings (be they in schools, stores or elsewhere) an engaging and entertaining event for all.
